Werner Henning-Friedrich Graf von Bassewitz-Levetzow (7 June 1894 – 20 August 1964) was a highly decorated ''Oberst'' of the Reserves in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Werner Graf von Bassewitz-Levetzow was captured by British troops at the end of the war while in command of the 2. Marine-Infanterie-Division.
